Eve is a champion eater! She took a bottle last night and again today, taking most of her feeding by bottle instead of feeding tube. For the two feedings after the bottle today, she tried to breastfeed while getting her feeding via tube. She is handling it all very well.
Oxygen is still running high, but still no cpap. I was told it is still a possibility that she would have to go back on it, and surprisingly, that didn't upset me like it would have before.
After our long visit, I met with the photographer to pick up proofs from Eve's photo session. Over 120 photos taken! There are so many good ones. I will post some soon -- I'm just too tired tonight after our long visit.
It just struck me yesterday that bringing Eve home is looking more like reality. I had not given it a single thought until then. We have NOTHING ready at home yet. Time to start researching carseats and other baby gear! I'm happy that the fun and anticipation of a having a baby has come back.
