Overdue update

Eve and I have had some late nights, so I've been too tired to write when I get home. And now that she is nursing, I'm pretty sloppy with two hand typing, so not going to attempt one handed!

She is back down on her O2 flow, at 75-125 ml and 100% yesterday. She was able to be turned down more while she was breastfeeding. She is doing well with nursing and now consistently taking her bottles. I think the doctor said yesterday that they would add more bottle feeds now. I honestly can't remember now -- maybe just wishful thinking?

Her eye exam showed no further damage to her eyes. That is three weeks in a row now where the damage has looked the same with no progression. Yayyyyyy! She will have the exam every Tuesday just to be sure, especially since she is still requiring O2.

I'm anxious to call today and see if she came down more on her O2 needs. The doctor did say that we will be looking at another round of steroids in a few weeks if she is still requiring help. I'm hopeful she will come off of it before then. The nurses and doctors seem to think it will be awhile, but Eve has surprised us with so many things that I think she can pull this one off as well.

I took some pics and will post one later today.
