Nothing!

That's right, another no news, all is stable kind of day!

We didn't go to see Eve today as I wasn't feeling well. I thought maybe I was getting a cold, but then noticed my blood pressure readings were low today, so maybe it was just that. Anyway, either way, better to be safe with Eve, as tiny and vulnerable as she is.

I called the nurse tonight for updates and all is the same as yesterday. They were able to tweak her vent settings just a little, but nothing too major. NEC still seems to be under control. Her nurse reported that she also noticed how much she loves laying on her tummy. Eve has had this nurse several times now, so she is getting good at reading Eve's body language. She now knows that when she gets "touchy," she needs some peace (as mentioned yesterday!) or needs her lungs suctioned. Because the nurse has picked up on this, Eve hasn't needed any sedative (something that has been fairly routine until now). I am in love with these NICU nurses.

We will probably head up there tomorrow and take lots of pictures. Trevor has been very sad today saying, "I want my baby home." I told him that she still needed to grow and that the doctors were still helping her and he said, "I don't care!" Typical Trevor! We looked at some Eve pictures after that, but I want to bring more home for him.
