Bill went to see Eve today. He has been insistent that she needs me more than him, and somehow I managed to convince him otherwise. It was his first visit alone with her since I got out of the hospital.
The PICC line is out, although the line for the blood transfusion from yesterday is still in. I don't know why, but I just wanted them ALL out today. Maybe tomorrow. Eve graduated from mask to nasal prongs. The RT we had all last week and yesterday was anxious to move her to the prongs as she thought Eve would be able to breathe better and be more comfortable without the mask. But, she didn't think it would happen until Eve had grown just a little bigger. Surprise surprise!
Bill said she got a bath today and had a little crab onesie on. This is the first time she has had clothes on, so I was surprised by that also. No other changes for today. So ... here's another picture of the sleepy gal.
Sweet!! For some reason she looks like she has really grown! Is it the clothes making her look like a big girl?
ReplyDeleteMaybe! Or maybe the lines being out, or maybe the weight gain now that she is getting full-size feeds. We have all noticed her cheeks being chunkier the past couple of days!
