So many changes!

I walked in today and Eve was in a big girl bed! She has been maintaining her temperature well in it, so she is hopefully all done with the isolette. This also means she will be wearing clothes and caps from now on. Good thing I've been carrying clean onesies in my bag just for this occasion!

I was so excited about the new bed that I didn't even notice that there was NO bubbling sound in the room. NO CPAP!!!!! She is just on oxygen with the same nasal cannula. She is doing well on it so far, in the 30-40% range depending on how she is laying.

Eve had another hydrotherapy session today. She was so relaxed for it and the therapist said she had great movement. Her feeds have increased a bit and that is going well also.

It was a nice visit today. She was alert for a good portion of time before I left. The nurse said she was surprised at how Eve's eyes were already tracking, as that's usually not typical until term. Yes folks, my baby has superpowers. She looks so big now and I can't believe how much she changes day to day. She is definitely not the same baby that showed up 7 1/2 weeks ago.

  1. Wow, what an eventful week! Great to read about all her progress and I'm glad you're getting some good news/signs of growth. Yay, Eve!
